Dry ice is used to keep your meat boxes frozen and fresh during delivery. It’s completely normal to see a small amount remaining when you open your box. Do not touch it with bare hands—it’s extremely cold!
Here’s what to do:
- Let it evaporate – Leave the dry ice in the box in a well-ventilated area, away from children and pets. Within a few hours it will naturally turn into gas and disappear.
- Do not throw it in the trash or down the sink – Just let it sublimate (evaporate) on its own.
- Handle with care – If you need to move it, use gloves or tongs to avoid direct contact.
Once the dry ice is gone, you can recycle or reuse the packaging materials — they’re 100% curbside recyclable!
